As we move closer to restarting Sacrament Meetings and, eventually, all meetings, we wanted to take a moment to express our love to all of you. Even though church was not held in person, we were deeply gratified by the stories of people serving and ministering to each other during this difficult time. We have felt your spirit and are heartened by the many ways you are following the Savior. Your good works continue to sustain us as we continually meet to discuss the needs of the Area. We truly are humbled by your faith and devotion.
As an Area Presidency, we would love to travel to each of your locations as we prepare to open meetinghouses, to meet with you and hear more of your stories of service and faith during this unprecedented time. Unfortunately, that just isn’t feasible at this time as borders have not yet completely opened. Nevertheless, we would encourage you to continue strengthening your faith during the era of COVID-19. To this end, we would like to meet with you virtually and share our testimonies with you of God’s love for each of us. We would also encourage you to ponder President Nelson’s question to each of us, “How do you Hear Him?”
